Terroir and wine making

Made with only Nero d'Avola grapes, Passivento Rosato Barone Montalto is a Terre Siciliane IGT wine made in the Belice Valley. The vines are rooted in dark alluvial and deep soils of medium texture; the clay-clay silt compositionsandy has a good content of organic substance that conditions the organoleptic qualities of the grape giving it a Mediterranean identity enhanced by the particular wine making process.

Tasting notes

From an organoleptic point of view, Passivento Rosato di Barone Montalto stands out in the glass with an intense cherry pink color. The floral and fruity aroma is enriched with fresh notes of herbs and aromas. The rose wine Passivento reveals on the palate an excellent structure with a good persistence and a pleasant finish.

On table

A wine that can be drunk pleasantly, also suitable for light dishes such as chicken salads or mixed vegetable grills. Also good with fresh cheeses. It should be served at a temperature of 12 ºC. to 14 ºC.

This rosé Nero d'Avola IGT is part of the Passivento di Barone Montalto line that collects all those wines made with the Passivento ķMethod, that is obtained by the partial drying of the grapes before they are harvested.
