Terroir and wine-making

In the terroir of the Regaleali Estate, located at 900 meters above sea level and characterized by strong thermal variations, the grapes of the famous Sicilian autochthonous vine are harvested every year and carefully selected to give life to one of the most famous wines of the winery. The Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC Regaleali is the result of a careful winemaking process that begins with a fermentation in contact with the skins for 10 days in steel tanks at a temperature of 26-28° C. It is aged for 6 months, half in steel and half in Slavonian oak barrels. This is how the Nero d'Avola Tasca d'Almerita gets its remarkable taste nuances.

Notes of taste

A Sicilian red wine that does not leave indifferent the palate. Already at the sight, the Red Gift shines with intense ruby red color and then enchant the nose with its warm and fragrant scents of black cherry, blueberry, mulberry and cherry to which are added sweet notes of vanilla and sage. Fresh and soft at the same time, it envelops the palate revealing a perfect tannic balance. The finish reproposes pleasant memories of red fruits.
