Terroir and wine making
Made with only Frappato grapes, Roceno Sibiliana is a product of Terre Siciliane IGP. The vineyards are cultivated in the area between Marsala and Trapani, where the particular conformation of the terroir and the Mediterranean climate enhance the quality of the grapes and distinguish it from that produced in other areas of the island. The Sibiliana winery uses state-of-the-art methods of vinification and aging, the result of research aimed at preserving the natural characteristics of the grapes and, at the same time, enhancing their innate qualities to the maximum. The result is a refined and elegant wine.
Taste notes
In the glass Roceno Frappato shows a ruby red color that anticipates the pleasing intense aroma and finally flows on the palate in all its balance of floral notes and yellow peach.
Wine at the table
At the table the wine Frappato di Sibiliana is good both in the company of delicate meat dishes and tasty fish dishes. It also enhances the pairings with meats and cheeses.
Curiosity
For the production of Roceno Frappato and the other wines of the winery, Sibiliana relies on the advice of winemaker Giacomo Spanò.
