Franciacorta Saten Brut DOCG encapsulates in a single bottle the creaminess and elegance of the character of the most delicate vineyards of the company. For the Franciacorta lombardo are selected Chardonnay grapes from 20 vines located in 6 municipalities of Franciacorta. The manual harvest of grape bunches takes place in mid-August from Guyot plants, with a plant at 5000 strains/hectare. The individual berries are pressed with a manual press that provides very gentle pressure. In the vinification process the flower must is separated from the second pressing must: the first one is the one that contains the best quality characteristics and is used to make franciacorta; The second is a waste which is not used for final bottling. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a temperature of 16 to 18 °C, with the final rest taking place in the tank until the following spring.
