Terroir and wine-making
In the area of Sambuca di Sicilia, in the province of Agrigento, the Cellaro winery cultivates its vineyards in total respect for nature, on soils that have a privileged composition and are located between 300 and 600 meters above sea level. The Syrah grapes, with which Cellaro produces the homonymous wine of the Lumà line, are bred to enhance the genuineness of the fruit. The maceration of the grapes takes place at a controlled temperature and has a total duration of 10-12 days, after which the pressing of the berries is carried out. The wine has an alcohol content of 13.5%.
Notes of taste
Lumà Syrah has a red colour with violet hues and an enveloping scent of red fruits. On the palate it is full and warm, with a balanced tannin.
Wine at the table
At the table, Cellaro’s Lumà Syrah particularly enhances aged cheeses and all dishes based on red meat, grilled mixed and game.
