Terroir and wine-making

Franciacorta Ferghettina Rosé is a refined sparkling wine made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes that combines the taste characteristics, the power and the expression of red berried grapes with the timeless charm of Franciacorta. The bubbly is born from 14 vineyards located in 4 municipalities of Franciacorta, from Guyot plants, with harvest of mid-August. The grapes are vinified using the Marmonnier press, a primitive pressing method that guarantees the maximum respect and the maximum yield of the Pinot Noir grape. The alcoholic fermentation of the must is carried out in steel tanks at controlled temperature, while the final ageing takes place in tanks until the following spring.

Notes of taste

The elegant Franciacorta Ferghettina Rosé has an old pink colour with a persistent and very fine perlage. The aroma is delicate and refined, with notes of blackberry and raspberry. The drink is pleasant, excellent also the persistence and structure.

The Franciacorta Rosé is the ideal companion for tasty aperitifs, appetizers and starters of fish, crustaceans and crudités di mare.

The distinguished sparkling wine of Ferghettina is a famous bubbly in the Italian and international scene. The main awards are high scores of competitions: Veronelli, AIS, Bibenda and Wine Enthusiast.
