Terroir and wine making

Sualtezza 650 is a sparkling wine produced with only Catarratto grapes harvested by hand in the first decade of September. The vineyards are cultivated in the territory of Caltanissetta, at 650 meters of altitude, on a clay-free soil of a calcareous nature. The vinification of Catarratto grapes takes place at a controlled temperature of 14 ºC in stainless steel tanks and then processed in autoclave. Once bottled in isobaric, the sparkling wine is stored at 16 ºC.

Taste notes

Sualtezza 650 Tenute Lombardo is a sparkling wine with a straw white color whose bubbles reflect in the glass with a greenish color. The aroma is typical of Catarratto with notes of white peach and grapefruit. Its perlage is intense and persistent. The palate is delicate, very fresh and acidulous, while the aftertaste, like any wine produced with the grapes of this grape, is slightly and pleasantly bitter.

Wine at the table

Sualtezza 650 enhances appetizers, oysters and shellfish and, in general, foods with a delicate flavor. The ideal serving temperature is 8 ºC.

Sualtezza 650 Tenute Lombardo owes its name to its sparkling nature for great occasions. Its authentic flavour acquires its freshness from the vineyards cultivated on the heights of Sicily.
