Terroir and wine-making

The Lagrein Erste+Neue is a red wine produced from native grapes of the same name from Trentino Alto Adige, harvested and selected by hand on particularly sandy and clay soils that emphasize the aromaticity of each individual grape. The vinification process takes place through fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature and aging in oak barrels; bottling concludes.

Notes of taste

The Lagrein has a bright red color that opens up to the nose through fresh and pleasant notes of red fruit and hints of slightly tannic. All this is reflected in a full and persistent taste with the 100% Erste+Neue character.

Wine at the table

The red Legrein prefers simple but rich dishes: red meat, game and grilled meats. Excellent with the dumplings speck of the culinary tradition of South Tyrol.
