Terroir and wine-making
The Adènzia Bianco Baglio del Cristo di Campobello is born from the union of two Sicilian grapes, the Grillo and the Inzolia. Collected by hand in small boxes, they are refrigerated to a temperature of 8-10°C. After destemming and pressing, they are subjected to soft and non-invasive pressing of the berries. The must is then separated and decanted by cold settling. The ageing on fine lees lasts 5 months and takes place at a controlled temperature in steel silos. Finally, before being marketed, the wine is aged for another 2 months in bottle.
Notes of taste
The White Honey releases inviting aromas of citrus and flowers that anticipate the fruity composition that returns to the palate. In the mouth, it reveals its freshness and roundness, accompanied by a good acidity. A wine that is also characterized by its great longevity.
Wine at the table
The White Wine is an excellent aperitif and is delicious even with dishes based on fish and crustaceans.
Curiosity
In the Sicilian dialect "giving pleasure" means going deep, paying special attention. The name Adènzia for the wine of Campobello’s Baglio del Cristo underlines the research work that the winery has done to offer a high quality wine.
