Terroir and wine-making

Vermentino di Sardegna Audarya is a white wine DOC produced with only Vermentino grapes grown in the vineyard of Serdiana, municipality in the province of Cagliari. Here, the Mediterranean climate characterized by low rainfall and windy summers contributes to enhance the typical characteristics of the vine. The vines grow on calcareous-clay soil and are raised with a low-spalier tree system. Once harvested by hand, the grapes are gently pressed.

Notes of taste

Vermentino di Sardegna Audarya is presented in the glass with a straw yellow color enriched by greenish reflections. The bouquet is fruity with delicate citrus notes. The palate is fresh and releases pleasant mineral sensations.

Wine at the table

The Vermentino of Sardinia Audarya is excellent as an aperitif and with appetizers, both sea and land. It goes perfectly with raw, fish first courses and soft cheeses.

Curiosity

Audarya, the name of the winery that produces Vermentino di Sardegna, means "nobility of mind" in an ancient oriental language.
