Terroir and wine-making
Viveur Funaro is an organic aperitif wine, the result of the vineyard Müller Thurgau, grown in the town of Salemi, in the scenic Sicilian Lands PGI. The harvest is carried out in early August, after which the wine is made, strictly in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15°C. Fermentation, filtration and maturation follow, then finish in a second fermentation in autoclaves that gives the Viveur Funaro the characteristic note of crispness that makes it so pleasant to taste.
Notes of taste
Viveur Funaro is a great aperitif wine. The straw yellow colour with greenish reflections and the numerous fruity and floral notes are typical of the Müller Thurgau grape. The bubbles of the Viveur evoke a pleasant pear aftertaste. A sweet, delicate and fresh wine, exaltation of the typical and productive knowledge of the Funaro winery.
Wine at the table
Viveur is an extremely harmonious wine that is easy to drink. It is therefore advisable to accompany it with appetizers, seafood and fried, squid and cuttlefish. For lovers of a good pizza on the plate, the Viveur Funaro will accompany such a simple dish making it unique and never banal.
Curiosity
Viveur Funaro is an aperitif wine from the harvest of Müller Thurgau grapes, a grape variety that has long been underestimated. The unstructured taste of its wines, in fact, is apparently too simple to make its products unique and refined, but Viveur Funaro makes such simplicity its strength: a fresh wine able to accompany the taste of any kind of dish, suitable for every occasion.
