Terroir and wine-making

The Calafuria of the Apulian company owned by Marchesi Antinori contains the pure expression of the Negramaro grapes, grown in the estates of San Pietro Vernotico in Salento, and brought to a maturation that over the years has offered to the tasters a wine with an increasingly paler color, taking up a Provencal style, but maintaining the essence and savoury of the best Apulian rosés.

Notes of taste

Calafuria is presented in a very elegant dress; a coral pink that opens the curtain of emotions, feelings characterized by sublime floral notes of lavender and rose with hints of fruity notes.

Wine at the table

The perfect glass to taste the wine Calafuria is a glass with medium opening, to enhance the perception of perfumes limiting the dissipation of aromas. The rosé wine marries perfectly with sliced meat, fish starters and vegetable risottos.

Curiosity

The American magazine Wine Spectator has ranked Calafuria Tormaresca among the best ten rosé wines, the only Italian ranking among the many prestigious French and Spanish labels.
