Terroir and wine making

The Kaid Syrah of Alessandro di Camporeale is a 100% organic wine made with grapes of the international grape variety that is best suited to the Sicilian terroir. The winery planted the vineyards in 1989, in the district of Mandranova. Syrah grapes have wonderfully adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the territory, where they can offer the best of their qualities.

Taste notes

Kaid Syrah has a dark ruby color, impenetrable to the eye but not to the nose, where it intrigues with its rich notes of blackberry, black cherry, black currant, cocoa, roasted coffee, rhubarb, leather, black pepper and cloves. On the palate it stands out with its territorial personality, powerful and velvety.

Wine at the table

Kaid Syrah Alessandro di Camporeale is a wine so overwhelming, soft and exuberant that should be accompanied with important dishes such as braised pork black.

Curiosity

For the production of his wines, and of Kaid Syrah, Alessandro di Camporeale uses non-invasive methods that use small natural stratagems, such as the use of roses as sentinels for attacks of powdery mildew and herbaceous crops that promote soil fertilization.
