Prosecco

Prosecco is a fine DOC or DOCG white wine produced only in certain areas of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The most famous grape varieties are Glera, Verdiso, Pinot Bianco, Grigio or Nero. It offers the glass a slightly aromatic fragrance and a pleasantly bitterish flavour, especially in its sparkling version. Production involves only the Charmat method, with a second fermentation taking place in stainless steel tanks and not in the bottle. With a medium alcohol content, Prosecco is a fresh and dynamic bubble, ready to drink immediately.
